The First One

Im starting this blog to express my feelings and opinions about various matters. Mainly, in the event that if I was to die, I want people to know who I really was as a person. I feel that every time I have been to a funeral everyone has only positive and good things to say about that person. When we all know that can't even remotely be accurate. So I want people to know who I am thru this blog and then draw their own conclusions about me and how I lived my life. This blog is something that I will hope to make a standard part of my life but I'm extreme type b and my habits are to usually stop doing things from time to time.
Now, to get caught up on current events in my life. I just came back off vacation where I spent 8 awesome days back home in Missouri. It was probably one of the best times I've had in Columbia since moving away. I had a good time with my family and I was able to hang out with my lil step brother a lot, which normally doesn't happen when I go home because he was always off at school. I finally made it to another pro baseball game and Alex Gordon, of the Kansas City Royals, stole home plate in extra innings for the win. It was pretty cool for my lil brother too because it was his first ever MLB game. I also went to Kansas City with another one of my good friends Jake and his girlfriend. We did arrive to KC safe but it was the scariest drives I have ever had. The four of us was almost in a severe accident on I-70 where a dump trucks front left wheel blew out causing him to sharply swerve in our lane. I will say that God was watching over us and keeping us safe because I made all the right moves and sped us out of the way to safety. But if I made one wrong move I would not be writing this blog right now. Its a weird thing to think about. When you look back at an event that could have drastically changed your life, then you start to think about how your life would be different if that event was to occur. I thank Jesus Christ that I'm still alive here today cause one pause in reaction, one long tap of the break and it may have been over. After we came back to Columbia I hung out with my good friend Miles '' Belligerent'' Huddleston, who is an aspiring rap artist. We didn't go out to a party or anything we just sat smoked and talked, I did make the perfect eating arrangement for Mc Donalds but it was cool to sit down and chat with someone about goals in life and the needed steps to get there. The only thing about that is we haven't gotten there yet so we may crash and burn. At some point I will update this blog and you will know.
African Dave is what I call him. He's someone I haven't been friends with for very long but I feel as though I've known this dude for years. He is the party. The dude knows everybody and he is a career student. I've technically have only known david for about 3 years and every time we hang out along with my other childhood friends Sam, Foz, Jake, and Chuck we were always in for a great night with a ton of randomness.
Another person from back home that I enjoyed spending my time with is my dad. Its always a good time. We joke, we kid, he gives me advice and we share each others company. I would say my relationship with him has gotten a lot better over the years. When I was in high school we never saw eye to eye about anything. My dad and I constantly argued and fought over the littlest thing. I spent most of my time at my friend Chris' house. It wasn't until I went off to college our relationship finally started to repare itself and heal. Back to my trip, I did leave Missouri earlier then planned but I made it back to Jacksonville the day I was scheduled to get back. It always seem to take a lot longer to drive back then it does driving to the location. I am safely back in Jacksonville, or as I like to call it the armpit of the south, and back to the corporate overworked life of a young professional  trying to climb that metaphorical corporate ladder.

I hope this wasn't a horrific first blog but they will get better with practice
